Without Stupid people who would make the rest of us feel smart?

Tolerance of the ignorant and stupid is not something I am good at.  I am trying to find a positive spin on it and the only one I can find is that they help keep my ego healthy.  From the Drunken ignorant to the consistently dumb they drive me nuts.  The advent of social networking has made this even worse from their dumb posts about things no one really cares about to comments on news pages that are so obviously uninformed and unresearched it hurts my head to think about, seriously its physically painful.  What is even worse is some of the worst offenders are people that until you added them as a friend on facebook or Twitter you may have found them intelligent so when everyday they post something moronic its like getting slapped in the face.  Of course you  hide their posts thinking this will help but then whenever you seem them in real life you cringe instead of smile because your thinking about the last post you read from them.

And whats worse is the people that you have to be around constantly that are highly dumb.  The people that feel that Jerry Springer is the greatest TV program ever created.  The ones who actually feel that "ain't" is a word and should be used whenever possible.  And what's worse these are the people that have an opinion on everything from race to religion to politics and they voice them without any provocation and you have no choice but to sit and listen or end up in 3 hour long conversation about why we cant just kick the president out of office because we dont like him or why ancient aliens isnt reality its just a tv show you really cant publish a scientific report without facts or proof.  Or my favorite why we cant really go and just kill everyone in the middle east and how that would be very similar to Hitler during World War II, of course comparing them to Hitler will set them off on a tizzy so its best to avoid this. After the 3 hours is over their final answer is always "Well thats just dumb." 

Annnddd then there's their children.  When you think you can take all there is to take of utter stupidity and ignorance you realize that these people actually reproduced and not just once but 4 to 5 times. Each child dumber than the first.  And sadly no its not a lack of application on the child's part and they may have actually been intelligent in the first place unfortunatley after years of living with their moronic parents their IQ's have slowly decayed over time and as we all know you cant replace dead brain cells.  In some cases these children's parents are so dumb CPS has actually come in and removed the children and not for physical abuse or anything just simply because the parent is soo stupid they are clearly incapable of making common sense decisions like putting a coat on your child when its 20 degrees out.  Sadly after a few parenting classes these children are returned to the home to spend the next 18 yrs learning the important things in life like the names of all the wrestlers on WWE or how to apply eyeliner correctly.  They will most likely drop out at 15 after deciding that their afterschool job at McDonalds is all they really ever need be pregnant by 19 and break up with Baby's Daddy within a year of their child's birth.  In the case they are male this will all be similar except he will most likely have multiple babies with multiple women and purposley fail an IQ test miserably so he can get on SSI and not have to pay child support.

Then there are the stupid people that are actually intelligent but constantly under the influence of some sort of intelligence lowering product such as alchohol or weed.  The biggest problem with this type of stupidity is that they think they are actually intelligent while are under the influence and no amount of argument can convince them otherwise. These people will usually want to discuss the first thing that will start and argument such as politics or religion. And maybe sports if there are a bunch of drunk sports fans.  These people usually end up with black eyes or in a drunk tank somewhere as well.  I must make a note here though because these people are only annoying when you are sober, when you are intoxicated as well your just as dumb as they are.  

Anyways the point of this rant is simple I feel 10 times smarter whenever I get on facebook and even with a complete lack of puncuation this post is still more intelligent that 75% of the conversations/facebook posts I have had in the last 30 days!

Going Commision Only....for a bit anyways

Talked to a guy in Liberty Lake and he's looking for someone to help him expand so I think I'm gonna go ahead and do it.  I'm not losing a dime and I can work at home so I need 2 things from my wonderful friends YOUR BUSINESS!! I'll be writing for Allstate and we all know this is company that you can trust and you know me I'm the master of customer service!! If your already with Allstate sign over to me!! The more people the better!! Pass this along!

Dear God

So I am pretty sure I am a good person.  I know I've made mistakes and I have tried very hard to make up for this mistakes.  I've hurt people that I care about and I know that and I have admitted apologized and attoned as  much as possible for these things.  The position my family is in now it is definantly partially my fault as a parent and a wife if my family has issues than I automatically get half the blame.  And I shoulder the other half of the blame.  BUT for JIMINEY CHRISTMAS THIS IS GETTING OLD!! I can't take it much more what the flying hell AM I SUPPOSED TO DO everyday I do what I think is right and at least once a week something goes wrong very wrong.  I have no idea what to do anymore I feel like giving up completely.  I know I shouldnt  but I just really dont know what else to do.

HMM Cause and Effect and People Like You make me just that much stronger!

I was just told the reason it will be difficult for me to find a job is because my credit sucks...hmm lets take a moment and examine this.  I don't have a job therefore I have no money (ok I have a little bit I make a whole whopping $124/week on unemployment) so how exactly should I be paying my bills?  So now you won't give me a job because my credit sucks so now my credit is going to get worse and worse.  I just want to thank you for pointing out this wonderful thing called cause and effect for me.  Now I'd like to point it out to you. I'd also like to see how long your credit stayed good if you weren't making 6 figures sitting on your butt all day finding ways to tell people they suck.  Well whatever bottom line is this bad credit or not I'm a damn good employee and someone smarter than you will hire me and when that happens I'm gonna laugh because by then your gonna be letting go half of the people that have "good credit" but suck at their job!

The power of positive and why I love being me

So after a couple of weeks of wallowing I've kicked it up a notch or 5 and am finally really busting my butt to get things done.  Interview after interview and I'm feeling really good about all of them :)  I honestly cant wait to get back to work!  I think a lot of it has to be attributed to starting to think more positively which is something I'm rather good at.  Getting up and not worrying and having a clear set path helps alot!   I've gotta figure that eventually somethings gotta give and while it's an uphill battle now to get finances back on track I know I can do it, failure isn't even an option!  So I will continue to look for jobs and bust my butt to get my family and our lives back on track as quickly as possible and so far everythings blue skys and rainbows!

What I've learned about life...

At 27 years old I had hoped to be a bit smarter than I am today.  Ya know life skills wise or wisdom wise lol.  I feel like I have learned alot yes but when I think about it I have put none of that knowledge to use at all.  And of course I am paying for it now.  I'm hoping that after now being jobless for a scary amount of twice with 3 children to take care of I will have finally learned my lesson.  I'd like to believe its not my fault that I just wasn't born with an inate sense of responsibility and that other people just are but that we all know is a load of crap.  Of course I could just blame my parents say they didn't teach me right or enough but that's an even bigger cop out.  I think being an adult is a no brainer or should be, pay your bills, hold a steady a job (even if you hate it), don't live beyond your means, ect.  But as the saying goes easier said than done.  So what have really determined from all of this.  That getting your life back on track is the simplest thing ever as long as you put your mind to it. So I suppose thats my focus and my aim right now.  Another sad part of this is sense I have gone twice now for a scary amount of time jobless it will be an uphill battle of epic proportions.  In the end it will have been worth it of course but right now I'm just trying to get the wind in my sails to actually do it.  So anyways the moral of the story time to refocus regroup and get my life and my family's on track uphill battle or not as the saying goes whatever doesnt kill you will make you stronger!

Dear America

As a citizen of the United States of America I find the state that this country is in rather sad.  And well quite frightening.  As a parent I'm downright scared for my children's future.  And to be honest I'm completely disappointed in of course our government, but the American People as well.  As much as the government has a responsibility to us we have a responsibility to ourselves to ensure our government is working for us.  We have failed miserably on that.  All we care about anymore is how thin our tvs are and how what a awesome car we have.  Well folks heres the deal if we don't start caring about the fact that the vast majority of us are out of a job we are screwed.  Seriously, China will really own us no joke.

So let's look into whats going so wrong real quick.  Here's the first thing Lack of Jobs.  Why is that?  Hmm well let's see how many companies outsource?  Here's a list <a href="http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/lou.dobbs.tonight/popups/exporting.america/content.html">Exporting America</a>from CNN.com I counted at least 30 and sure that seems like a small # until you take into account that A. I said at least and B. These are not tiny companies they aren't just sending 150 jobs other places.  We are talking whole manufacturing plants, Hey I wonder how many people just one Kraft plant can employee?  Of  course American's dont want to work in factories we want to go to school and get real jobs....Right...according to one article found <a href="http://endoftheamericandream.com/archives/welcome-to-the-real-world-2010-college-graduates-nobody-wants-to-hire-you">Here</a> 17% of college grads in 2010 were unemployed.  That's right mom and dad and my taxes paid out how much to put this kid through college so no one would hire him.  Nice.  The American Dream get drunk for 4 years than live on welfare for another 2, oh wait thats right single kidless and unemployed No welfare for you.  Mom and Dad's basement you go.  Good thing they can get welfare.  Oh and what about the kids that dont even make it through to graduation?  66% of kids dropped out that's right more than half!  Main factor lack of MONEY!  WHY? Lack of JOBS!  And what happens when they drop out?  They start working out Jack in the Box for minumum wage.  So again why did we send all of our jobs to other countries cause I'm confused it looks like that quite a few of us don't give a damn about a degree.
Problem # 2:Ridulous Hiring standards or Guess what I can fire you and theres not a damn thing you can do about it!   I recently applied for a job,  I more than qualified I was told that I more than qualified, why did I not get it?  Because I hadn't researched the company enough...Hmmm Im sorry that I could not recite half of your overpaid presidents for you.  Last time I checked that's what training class was for.  Heres the funny thing the training class the company  was hiring for has been postponed why Because they couldnt fill it, Wonder why?
Job security ecspecially in my state is quite frightening.  Why because we are a "Right to Work State".   What does that mean? My boss can get a hair up his ass and fire me for pretty much no reason at all.  Isn't that grand so even if you do get a job you literally are constantly afraid of getting fired.  Fun stuff Right?

So here's the deal America alot of this is pretty easily fixed.  Step One please realize that we aren't all rocket scientists and get real you aren't going to become a doctor. Don't even try and demand the government bring out factory jobs back.  Cause really how many son's and daughter's of doctors and lawyers did you go to school with?  I know for me it was 5 MY WHOLE LIFE!  How many people do you know that graduated college?  I know one he is a security guard by choice didn't like teaching.  Oh and the other thing NOT EVERY JOB NEEDS A DEGREE!! Thats right you don't not need 4 years of school to teach elementry school on the job training sure, student teacher yes.  But it's not rocket science.  HR probably not again on the job training, experience...and your good.  Middle management, hmmm these are usually the first jobs to go yet most companies require that you have a degree.  Umm Why?  Half the time your job is just to play a parent to  a group of people anyways.  HVAC, Plumbing, electrician, carpenter ect.  What the hell happened to apprenticeships?  Step 2:  This is to the corporations out there GROW UP!!  Seriously how many morons have you hired over the years because a completely qualified individual didnt answer your question right?  How much money would you have saved in turn over huh?  All you guys care about it the bottom line anyways so give me a break.  And to our illustrious leaders in the government Hey Morons ya want to start getting some tax money change the laws in your state.  A company should NOT be able to just shut its doors or fire you without a damn good reason a damn good documented reason!  Period.

Major US Issue # 2:  American culture in General

There was a crappy movie that came out a little bit ago it was called Idiocrasy.   It essentially showed that in a few 100 years this country will be filled with nothing more than violent sex driven idiots who cant put together a complete sentence.  The movie sucked was it probably mostly right? Umm yeah.  Let's see how many people out there actually paid money to see at least one of the Jackass movies in the theater?  How many people paid to see all 3 of them?  Jackass 1 $64 million in North America ALONE!!  Hmmm folks lets see and this is a country of doctors and lawyers and rocket scientists...right....Ok so we've paid a bunch of guys to seriously injure themselves for serious bucks.  How much do you think each of them made?  Yeah wayyyy more  than you do in a year.  Julia Roberts clears $25 million per movie....hmmm ok so she works for say 200 hours filming a movie and because she is going to be seen in theaters all over the world she should get a giant cut of the income...umm...ok, wait I'm confused.  Is she still working?  Ok well yeah she does the premiers...ohhhh she gets paid more for those....oh and there's the promos going to the Today show and such....Huh?  Oh she's paid extra for those too.  I see oh some of them she's just given thousands of dollars in gifts.  Right ok folks C'MON Julia Roberts acted for 200 hours and got paid millions of dollars!!  Period she's not working when some guy in Russia goes to catch a mantinee NO she is sitting at home doing nothing.  And we support this why?

Hold on just got a text.  Alright haha just a facebook update.  Yeah I'll admit it I love technology and I love my facebook.  But would I sacrifice my credit score for a flat screen. Yes, yes I would.  Like most Americans at one point in time I spend bukuu bucks on the most cutting edge technology....annnddd then the collection agencies started calling.  Coulda paid my student loans got a PS3 instead.  (Yeah I tried the college thing too, stupid stupid idea)  Shoulda paid off my husbands loans but got him a flat screen for christmas.  We have public transpo but really needed that gas guzzling SUV.  Daughter really needed  a DS...The list goes on and you know your shaking your head agreeing.  Americans are morons when it comes to managing money and we are suckers for having the next best thing ecspecially if I neighbor already has the 4g version.  In the 30's when there was a depression our grandparents got smart and became serious ass penny pinchers.  I mean c'mon how many stories have you heard about the old dude dying and he literally had a couple mil hidden in coffee cans?  Depression today its ok upgrade your phone it's free, of course your bill is now doubling but that's ok cause now you got braggin' rights.

Hun did you pay the electric bill?  Umm no I thought you did.  Damn, no just throw it on the card.  Ok which one?  Heard that before yeah my guess over dinner.  You have no cash your looking at your power being shut off and you just realized that to actually pay said light bill you will have to put it on 3 seperate credit cards.  And why is that?  Because ya'll had this same conversation last month and your still trying to pay the balances down on all 5 of your cards.  Now, of course 2 of those did not get paid at all.  In about 2 days youll probably be taking out a payday loan.  But hey you did get those really cute jeans!!

Alright folks these are the easiest fixes that I will probably address.  Celebrity worship is a wast of money.  Explain to me why the hell your going to actually spend your hard earned cash that you actually worked for so the Jackass guys can go out and buy a 200k car?  Here's an idea go see local theater where they actually help make the sets costumes ect.   Where the actors volunteer oh and demand higher wages for people that actually work.  The security guard who cant do a damn thing for himself if he actually has a problem, the single mom that stands on her feet for 8 hours a day takes all of your shit in line and then has to clean up the beer that the drunk dude spilled all over isle 5.  If the government wont raise taxes on the insanely rich then take away their damn income!

DIY #2:  YOU DONT NEED A $400 PHONE!!  You also dont need a $350 ps3, Xbox 360 whatever.  Our economy has tanked completely and instead of people saving money and budgeting we are still going out and buying high end EXPENSIVE electronics. Folks 3d tv is nice having some money in the bank for a rainy day is better (or in the coffee can).

Fix #3:  To the government HEY MORONS Using credit is stupid!!  Why exactly was credit invented oh yeah thats right for people to feel like they rich right?  I mean I guess cause I dont see anything good with it at all.  Actually as far as I can credit has just made everything worse.  Why if we weren't all going out and borrowing money based on some damn score we all woulda realized were broke YEARS AGO!  Time to start phasing it out folks.  Personally and as a country.  People if you don't have $500 in your wallet or your checking account you don't have $500 period end of story.  If you don't have $250k to buy a $250k house guess what moron wait till you do or flipping by a 50k house. Simple so so simple.  If you can't touch it it doesnt exist!

And that concludes Kelly's life lessons for the day. Now,  I just want to point out these are all opinions.  I could be completely wrong and you can absolutley have your own opinion and take on life.  And I'd love to hear them as long as they are civil.  If you watch Bill O'Reilly religiously you should probably keep your opinions to yourself.  Tomorrow's Lessons: Why your kids a brat,  You have completed screwed evolution up and my personal favorite We all have Rights Right?
